Who loves the Western culture and Western romance, is right at the cowboy Poetry gathering. The Festival takes place every year in late January and next year from 28 January to 2 February 2013 in Elko in northeastern Nevada. Friends of cowboy culture, Wild West poetry and country music should reserve the date. The Festival now has a 29 year old already tradition. In 1985 a small group of folklorists and poets was together for the first time, to celebrate the cowboy culture.

Since then, the Festival across the country is also known.
